Easy Steps to Ensure Accurate and Efficient Mass Upload in The TextileCloud™
Introduction
When preparing to mass upload your data, it's crucial to fill in the Excel template correctly. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for each column in the Excel template.
To begin, download the Excel file template from the mass upload online spreadsheet. The Excel template varies based on the material type, such as Woven, Knit, Leather, Non-woven, Trims, and Others. You can download the one you need.
The Excel file includes brief instructions to help you fill it out correctly. Additionally, we will provide detailed guidance in this article.
Column Instructions
- Item# (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
The input is your item number with a maximum length of 50 characters. - Material Side (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
There are two sides of the material: face side and back side. Specify which side is being entered. - Composite Material (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
If the fabric contains composite material, enter 'Y' for Yes, and 'N' for No. - Back Side (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
If the fabric has a back side, enter 'Y' for Yes, and 'N' for No. - Copy Face-side Info
If the back side of the fabric has the same information as the face side, enter 'Y for Yes, and 'N' for No. - Season
Specify the season (e.g., Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring). Your input can be a maximum of 10 characters. - Year
Only numeric values are allowed (0-9999). - Publish (Season and Year)
Select 'Y' to publish season information, or 'N' to keep it private. - Feature
Describe the functionality or intended usage of the material. The maximum length is 500 characters. Use a slash '/' to separate multiple items.
For example, if you input 'Dobby/Crepe' in the Excel template, it will result in (Dobby) as the first feature and (Crepe) as the second feature. Please see the example below.
If you use other notations such as ". , -_, they will not be recognized as separators. Instead, they will create a single feature. For example, entering 'Dobby,Crepe' in the Excel template will result in a single feature (Dobby,Crepe).
If you want to use a slash '/' in the entry without splitting it, enclose it in curly braces '{ }'. For example, if you want the feature to be '(Dobby/Crepe)', enter it in the Excel template as {Dobby/Crepe}. - Material Type (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
Each Excel template is differentiated by material type; only one material type per Excel template file. - Material Description
Describe the material (e.g., Twill, Jacquard) with a maximum length of 50 characters. Use a slash '/' to separate multiple material descriptions. If you want to use a slash in the entry without separating it, enclose it in curly braces '{ }'. - Construction Type Standard
Select the construction type from the provided list. This provided list will help ensure that the physical properties of your selection align perfectly with the real fabric material.
💡 Please note that if the construction type you need is not listed in the provided list, kindly select the default option (e.g., Default Woven or Default Knit) and enter your custom construction in the next field. - Construction Type Custom
Enter your material's custom construction in this field, with a maximum length of 50 characters per item. Please use a slash '/' to separate items if listing more than one item.
💡Please keep in mind while we welcome custom entries, we cannot guarantee that the physical properties will maintain the same level of quality. - Publish (Construction)
Select 'Y' to publish construction type information, or 'N' to keep it private. - New Field Name
You can input any customized new field with a maximum length of 15 characters. - New Field Value
Input the value of your new filed name with a maximum length of 50 characters. - Publish (New Field Name and Value)
Select 'Y' to publish the new field information, or 'N' to keep it private. - Content (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
Input the material content. Use a slash '/' to separate multiple items. Maximum length is 100 characters. - Content Percentage (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
The total content percentage must equal 100%. Only numeric values (1-100) with 2 decimal places are allowed. Use a slash '/' to separate multiple items.
For example, if the fabric contains two contents—60% Cotton and 40% Polyester—enter it in the Excel template as shown in the figure below:

Input the fabric's cuttable width. Only numeric values (1-999) with 2 decimal places. - Full Width (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
Input the fabric's full width Only numeric values (1-999) with 2 decimal places. - Unit of Width (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
Select the fabric's unit of width (cm or inch). - Weight (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
Input the material weight. Only numeric values (1-99999) with 3 decimal places. - Unit of Weight (*𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙)
Select a weight measurement (gsm, oz/dy, g/m, g/y). - Weight Display
Select 'Y' to display the converted value of the weight. - Finish
Describe the fabric finishing. Use a slash ('/') to separate multiple items. The maximum length is 500 characters. If you want to use a slash ('/') in a finish without separating it, please enclose it in curly braces ('{ }'). - Color
Enter the fabric color using a Pantone code if necessary. The maximum length is 100 characters. However, once you upload the fabric image, our system will automatically detect and input the color based on the uploaded image. - New Field Name
Input the new filed name under Color. The maximum length is 15 characters. - New Field Value
Input the new field value with a maximum length of 50 characters. - Publish (New Field and Value)
Select 'Y' to publish the new field information, or 'N' to keep it private. - Pattern
Name or describe the fabric pattern. The maximum length is 100 characters. - New Field Name
Input the new filed name under Pattern. The maximum length is 15 characters. - New Field Value
Input the new filed value. The maximum length is 50 characters. - Publish (New Field and Value)
Select 'Y' to publish the new field information, or 'N' to keep it private. - Public Tags
Keywords for public or external search. Use a slash '/' to separate multiple tags. The maximum length is 500 characters.
For example, if you input "Crepe/Printed" in the Excel template, it will result in (Crepe) as the first tag and (Printed) as the second tag. Please see the example below.

Input for private or internal keywords. Use a slash '/' to separate multiple tags. The maximum length is 500 characters. If you want to use a slash in a private tag without separating it, enclose it in curly braces '{ }'. - Certification Tags
Select carbon or sustainable certification options. - Remarks
The key message for private notes in the Tags section with a maximum length is 2500 characters. - Pricing Info Creating
Select 'Private' to keep pricing private or 'Public' to publish. - Country of Origin
Select material country of origin using the ISO 2 alphabet. (e.g. TW, US, SG) - Currency
Select a currency option (e.g. USD, EUR, SGD) - Price
Input the unit price. Only numeric values. The maximum input is 18 digits with 2 decimal places. - Unit of Price
Select a unit option for pricing (Y/M/KG). - MOQ
Input the minimum order quantity. Allow only whole numbers (0-999999). - Unit of MOQ
Select the unit of the minimum order quantity: Y/M/KG. (Y for yard, M for meter, or KG for kilogram). - MCQ
Input the minimum color quantity. Allow only whole numbers (0-999999). - Unit of MCQ

Input the material code or internal product number. Maximum length of 50 characters. - Sample Cards Remaining
