Creating Assets with APEXFiz File
Introduction
This article provides a comprehensive guide on creating digital assets with APEXFiz files, specifically designed for users managing textile collections. The streamlined process allows for easy integration of your APEXFIZ file into digital assets, complete with physical properties data.
Steps for Creating Assets with APEXFiz File
1. Selecting the Upload Option
• Initiate Upload
Navigate to Asset Library, then, click on the [Create Asset] option. This action is designed for users to create asset data and upload the APEXFIZ file.
• File Requirements
- Supported Files: ZIP (with .u3m file)
- Maximum File Size: 100 MB/file
2. Fill in asset specifications
Ensure you fill out the fields and pay attention to fill out all the required fields in the Specifications tab indicated by (*) including Item#, Material Type, Content, Width, and Weight.
💡 Pro Tip
In the Construction Type and Content field, there are two ways to fill it:
- Standard: Select a predefined value, and our AI will automatically map it.
- Custom: Enter a customized value with general value and without AI mapping
3. Uploading APEXFiz file
• Navigate to the File Uploads tab, then, click on the [Upload APEXFix file] button.
• Browse or drag and drop the APEXFix file. Ensure it fulfills all the requirements.
• Once the file is selected, Check on the [Input the physical data from Frontier AI] option. This action will then equip the digital asset with physical properties data. Then, click Save.
• Processing and Appearance: After uploading, the data from the APEXFix file will be processed by the system and you can track the status in the Progress Status tab.
4. Digital Assets with APEXFix File Completed
Once uploaded to the TextileCloud™, it will be enriched with the fabric image and 3D materials, including downloadable files such as .U3M, U3MA, and glTF, each containing physical properties data.
